I'm thinking about getting back into the video life. I've aways bought Sony cams but I have recently been impressed with Canon products in general. So the following (almost impossible question to answer)...What's a very good, small, HD, easy to use cam that can be housed in a small easy to travel housing? $$$ is not the most important factor.
Welcoming all suggestions!!!

small and easy to travel???? I think that is your hard part to find. Seatool makes the smallest ones but they are $$$. I think they only make them for Sony, too. There is a new Flip HD camcorder that is tiny and Ikelite makes a housing for it. I have seen some video with it but I am not overly impressed. It is good, but don't know if it is what you are looking for. http://www.ikelite.com/web_two/jvc_fm1.html http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSJGHEuuh2U
As far as Canon HD vs. Sony HD........ I switched to Canon this year when I upgraded and I am very happy with it. I have an Ikelite housing, not small but not huge either.
