As I drool over the new camera's out, I too have considered how to light both photo's. Hopefully you first understand the video's you get out of most still camera's will not be the quality you can get with a true, dedicated video system. However, lighting for a video, if I wanted to take a short video with my still camera can't be acomplished with strobes, and you do need strobes to shoot stills underwater, hard to get around that, just as hard to get around not needing video lighting at times, when shooting video. My thoughts were to simply continue to use the strobes I currently have for stills, and get the best spotting light, (focus light) with a dimmer on it. I currrently have the original Fix light, that I use as a focus light. I have seen it used for a video light also. I may need to upgrade to the new, brightest LED Fix light and us it as a focus light for stills, and a video light for video. Just my thoughts. Brant
