If you want TTL, you need to stick with Ikelite strobes. They are the only strobes that will power the TTL circuit in your housing.

If TTL is not important, then you could look at the Sea & Sea YS-110a or the Inon Z-240.

What if the hokey pokey really is what it's all about?

Xactly !  I used to shoot a D70s & than D80 w/ a pair of DS-125.  Everything work perfectly, u can choose TTL / manual.  Great electronic, the dial is so nice to use.

I now shoot D90 but switched completely to Nexus housing + a pair of Inon Z240.  I still have the ability to shoot manual or TTL.  TTL by means of fiber optica connection to the strobe trigger by the onboard flash pop up inside the housing.  Manaul by means of electronic connection via the hotshoe.  Both available from the housing.

Ikelite can trigger Inon Z240 just fine w/ electronic connection but like Tio said, no TTL.  But here is the thought, If the Ikelite housing gives you enough clearance to pop up the flash, the flash can still trigger Inon Z240 or S2000 in 'remote' since Ikelite is a clear housing, onboard flash going to be dected by the strobe optical eye, no connection necessary.

Nikon D90, Nexus, Nikkor 60mm, 105VR, Tamron 17~50mm, Tokina 10~17FE, 12~24mm.  Nexus CL-100.
Hartenberger Nano, Fisheye FixLED1000DX, 2XInon Z240 Type 4, ULCS.
