I asked the question below but couldn't stand to wait for answers.  So, we booked for the late April and early May time range.  Between the introductory price for Delta and some FF miles to get us to Atlanta from our small part of nowhere, it was too good to pass up.  We are going to Buddy Dive.

Would love to have some fellow DDNers there!    Remember...low introductory rate that could go away soon.

Thanks, Terry for the heads up.

I think the answer is probably going to be that any time is a good time but is there any drawback to an end of April and beginning of May trip to Bonaire?  Thanks.

Thanks.  It's good to actually have something on the calendar rather than just talking about it.

What dates are you guys traveling??  My wife and I are going in December so I'm not sure if we could make it again in April, but I'd like to consider it.  I coach college volleyball and our National Tournament ends on April 19th so I'm always looking to get out of town for a while after that.  We'll be trying to go somewhere in late April / early May.  Especially if we can find a good deal.

My wife and I are leaving Sacramento for Bonaire April 26 to May 17, staying at a place next to Richard's restaurant. Wanna do a dive or two?

We're planning a trip for April/May?  VB Diver - You have not submitted a request to your CFO yet.  You also need to check with your vice-president of financial affairs - your 5 month-old daughter.

That would be great.  We will be at Buddy Dive.  We look forward to meeting both of you.

Chances are good we will be going along with Jim.  We are trying to sort out airlines right now.  We will be leaving from Sacramento as well either on April 25 or 26.

Susan and I got our tickets today.  Thanks, Terry, for pointing this Delta deal out, and thanks Jim, for setting a date.  We'll see you there!

Hope you Aviddivers make it too.

Becky, go buy a lottery ticket....

Who else is going?

We are in for sure!
We discovered we could cut the costs by a bunch by driving to San Francisco rather than flying out of Sacramento.  We have a hold on Continental and Delta reservations for 24 hours and just have to decide which itinerary we like best.
Our Buddy Dive reservations are made!

And, of course, RnR and others posted some nice topside photos of Bonaire and Buddy Dive at:

As soon as I can find it I'll post a phone number for the place where we are staying.  We ususally get boat dives from Buddy, so we can meet up there as well.
